charlie grimes wasn't a stranger to death, even before the world became apocalyptic, he'd seen enough death while being a trainee cop as well as his basketball team turning into literal walkers, his namesake be damned. charlie wanted to survive enough to see his family and friends again, even if they were walkers too- nothing would stop him from finding them again. so he just kept his goals in mind, 1) find his family and friends and keep them safe, 2) see if anyone else he knows survived and protect them, 3) survive and not get bit. simple, right?

mikalah (or preferably, mikah) was raised in a lab where he became 'subject two'. being used to the abuse and experimentation only heightened mikah's developed werewolf 'genes' and also his i.e.d, where he couldn't help but despise those who his 'papa' favorited over him. when he's allowed to leave the lab to 'hunt down his sister, eleven', he ends up in the hands of a teenager that takes him in as part of a family that would do anything for him and alongside a group of friends and two pretty guys that he feels a connection for by using them as the anchor to his humanity.

steve harrington finally has everything he's ever wanted out of his whole life: a loving family, real friends, even a bunch of kids he now loves to babysit.. and to top it of, he's now openly bisexual and has his first boyfriend, billy hargrove. but after something extremely traumatic, steve results to writing letters to billy in the form of children's fantasy books (with the help of will, max and el) and reads them out loud in a specific hospital room, hoping that his amnesia-stricken boyfriend will remember him once again.

steve harrington grew up in hawkins lab as 'subject 007' where he was used and had developed electrokinesis. when he finally escapes the lab with his friend 'subject 008', he ends up making his way back to hawkins after a difficult choice and staying in the small town as 'the adopted son of the chief'. steve tries to learn everything he can while dealing with the guy that wants to 'ruin him', all while he hides his powers and his past just won't leave him alone.

Chaos has come again | Billy hargrove
the harrington twins delt with grief and trauma differently, steve would rather bottle up his emotions or pretend he was something he wasn't, whereas, seb would rather use sarcasm as his defense mechanism. even though they were opposites (or so it seemed at first), they still had a great bond with each other.. but, that may get ruined when an attractive blond moves to their town, which seb can't help but fall for- who uses anger as his own coping mechanism, so maybe they're all not so different after all.

dexterity ives wanted more out of life then just being the werewolf 'experiment zero' from Hawkins lab, to be more than brenner's 'son' and henry's 'brother' and definitely more than just being his aunt's ward and 'dad's punching bag all while trying to find his lost younger cousin that's been way closer to him than he'd thought. luckily, the bad gets outweighed by the good in the form of a group of friends, some kids and a new family that accepts him as is.. and a handsome guy that is the anchor to dex keeping his wolf side under control.
